Die 1. Auflage war erfreulicherweise nach kurzer Zeit vergriffen, so dass diese 2., korrigierte Auflage vorgelegt werden kann.

About the Author
Prof. Dr. sc. techn. Peter Marti ist seit 1990 Professor fur Baustatik und Konstruktion an der ETH Zurich. Hier lehrt er Baustatik und Stahlbeton. Peter Marti war Vorsitzender von verschiedenen technischen Kommissionen, wie ACI-ASCE Joint Committee 445 Shear and Torsion und fib Commission 4 Modelling of Structural Behaviour and Design . Er war Prasident der Kommission SIA 162 Betonbau , Projektleiter Swisscodes und Prasident der Gesellschaft fur Ingenieurbaukunst. Als Beratender Ingenieur, Gutachter und Jurymitglied fur Wettbewerbe betreut er viele anspruchsvolle Vorhaben des Hoch-, Bruckenund Tunnelbaus.
