About the Author

Pushpak Bhattacharyya is Vijay and Sita Vashee chair professor of computer science and engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, where he has been teaching and researching for the last 25 years. He was educated at IIT Kharagpur (B.Tech), IIT Kanpur (M.Tech), and IIT Bombay (Ph.D). While earning his Ph.D, he was visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Subsequently, he has been visiting professor at Stanford University and University of Grenoble, and distinguished lecturer at the University of Houston. Dr. Bhattacharyya’s research interests include natural language processing, machine learning, machine translation, information extraction, sentiment analysis, and cross-lingual search, in which he has published extensively. Currently, he is associate editor of ACM Transactions on Asian Language Information Processing and vice president-elect of Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL).

About the Author
Dr. Suzanne O'Sullivan has been a consultant in neurology since 2004, working first at The Royal London Hospital and currently as a consultant in clinical neurophysiology and neurology at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, as well as for a specialist unit based at the Epilepsy Society. She has developed an expertise in working with patients with psychogenic disorders, alongside her work with those suffering with physical diseases, such as epilepsy. This is her first book.

This is an important book. People with "medically unexplained ...

This is an important book. People with "medically unexplained symptoms" MUS are very common; yet physicians rarely know how to help them. If the book had references and and index, I would have given it 5 stars. It is most valuable to physicians and medical students, in my opinion.

This is fascinating information that made me think about the people I know and also myself. I don't know why it is such an unbelievable science, except that medicine relies sadly on drugs and money instead of thoughtfulness.

I adore these books!

I think that the whole set of Beginner Books is wonderful. There is the green book, purple, blue, red. I am very fond of all of them and they give a variety of stories to enjoy. When I read my kids books, it is nice to keep the same book out for a few nights of reading. When they are older, I can use this to teach them to read without having to resort to something boring like the Dick and Jane books. I plan on collecting them all in the end.

Dr. Seuss always a Winner & book perfectly fits personality of person it was purchased for, however, make sure to check "sizes" of books listed... I was expecting a "full size" version....most likely, my own fault for not paying closer attention!!

It really made Christmas special this year!

We were using the version for class study at church, and I was so impressed with it. So, I ordered the movie version for home. The acting is so good and it is so realistically done. It follows the Bible the closest of any I've ever seen. I got one for each of my children so they can view it each Christmas. It helps us to remember the real reason for Christmas.
